Patrick Fynn Writes: What If Menzgold Survives?

In 1844, a preacher upstate New York added up some dates in the Bible and predicted Jesus' return. His followers gave away all their possessions and showed up on a field.

Guess who didnt show up!

So the preacher said that he miscalculated and they went right back the next month, with more followers. Everytime he was irrefutably proved wrong, it re-doubled everyone's belief.

But his followers never faded out. They became the Seventh Day Adventists: a major religion!

As stupid as their inclination looked, it eventually gave them something to live for: faith, fellowship, a belief system, life.

People do unbelievable things not because they can't be reasonable, but because it will make their lives less miserable. The goal of our hustle is to keep misery to the minimum.

So people who invest with Menzgold are not retarded. They understand the risks, they venture, anyway. Because times are hard. Desperation abounds. Nothing works. People are hopeless! The temptation to draw near greener pastures is always high.

There was a crippled man who looked crazy, investing 38 years of his life by a pool waiting for an Angel to stir the water.

The things we do for survival are like crime. All crimes are crimes of passion. People do stuff not because they forget it's illegal or unsafe or unreasonable.

People take risks because it may be better than the other side. And of course; nothing is ever for sure.

What if Jesus showed up? What if Menzgold survives?
